Online Payment Terms & Services

Welcome to the online booking and payment platform of Mila Resort (referred to below as “the Resort”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), located in Ain Sokhna, Egypt. By checking the box to proceed with your transaction, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these payment terms.

 

1. Governing Law & CBE Compliance

All electronic payment transactions processed through this website are strictly governed by Law No. 194 of 2020 of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), alongside local digital banking and consumer protection frameworks. All card processing, data handling, and instant transfers follow official CBE guidelines for secure online acquiring.

 

2. Base Currency & Pricing

  • Local Transactions: All bookings, deposits, and service charges are billed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Foreign Cards: If you pay using an international debit or credit card, the absolute amount will be settled in EGP, and your issuing bank will apply their daily foreign exchange rate and applicable international transaction fees.

 

3. Cancellation, No-Show, & Refund Policy

Payment is non refundable, and reservations cannot be postponed.

 

4. Payment Security & Data Privacy Obligations

  • Secure Encryption: Our payment page utilizes industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption managed by an authorized, CBE-licensed Payment Service Provider (PSP). We do not store, log, or view your full credit card number or CVV code on the Mila Resort servers.
  • User Responsibility: You are strictly responsible for keeping your personal banking information, OTPs (One-Time Passwords), and device access secure. Mila Resort will never ask for your card PIN or passwords via email, phone, or text message.

 

5. Failed Transactions & Dispute Resolution

  • If a payment fails but funds are deducted from your account, the issue usually stems from a communication lag between your bank and our payment gateway. Please contact your card-issuing bank first.
  • Any transaction disputes regarding booking modifications must be raised directly with Mila Resort customer service at stayatmila@gmail.com or +201509075553 before initiating a formal bank chargeback.
  • Any disputes that cannot be settled amicably shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
